Rain, sleet and snow will clear eastwards during the evening. Clearer skies will follow later in the night from the west, giving frost, widespread ice and some freezing fog patches, particularly in east Wales and the Marches. Minimum temperature -1°C (30°F).
SundayWidespread ice and some fog patches expected during the morning. Becoming bright for a time around midday, however cloud will progressively spread in from the west, with rain following later. Maximum temperature 8°C (46°F).
Monday to WednesdayLess cold with spells of rain and some hill snow to start the week, although frosts and icy patches remain possible. Colder again but brighter with sunny spells on Wednesday.
