However outbreaks of rain spread southeast this evening and overnight, the rain falling onto frozen surfaces causing icy surfaces away from the Galloway coast. Southwesterly winds easing. Minimum temperature -2°C (28°F).
ThursdayStill the risk of some icy surfaces at first otherwise a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain, most persistent across the Galloway hills. A little milder than of late. Maximum temperature 6°C (43°F).
Friday to SundayRain at times on Friday with perhaps a few prolonged and heavy spells. Cloudy over the weekend with further light rain, although bright for a time on Saturday morning.
