Remaining dry and clear across the Northwest for most of the night, although with a chance of fog or low cloud affecting some places toward the end of the night. Minimum temperature -4°C (25°F).

Cloud gradually spreads south across the region, affecting Cumbria then Lancashire in the morning, and Greater Manchester and Cheshire in the afternoon. It should remain dry throughout. Maximum temperature 9°C (48°F).

The weather becomes more unsettled, with some sunshine but also showers or longer periods of rain at times. Chance of frost during any clear periods overnight.
